I really enjoyed creating these pieces at a local ceramics workshop. I love the process from start to finish, especially the 'never quite knowing' what you'll be faced with after each firing/glazing. I was very happy with the final results and hoping to carry on with it some day. . . 

I studied jewellery , silversmithing and ceramics at Edinburgh College of Art in the early 90's however after a ceramic/jewellery workshop in Palermo, Sicily one summer I decided to take a year out or rather missing my flight back to Scotland decided things for me , ending my studies prematurely. A year out turned into eight living in Naples and the Amalfi coast!!!
